    Do not take Buscopan if you are allergic to hyoscine butylbromide or to any of the other ingredients listed in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet enclosed in the carton
  • Do not take if you have fructose intolerance
  • Do not use if you have blockage in the bowel or in certain conditions with reduced bowel activity or glaucoma, or a fast heart rate or difficulty in swallowing or prostate problems or rare blood pigment disorder.
    Each tablet contains 10 mg hyoscine butylbromide
    For adults and children over 6 years : 2 tablets four times a day
  • Tablets should be swallowed whole with water.
