    Dimetapp Elixir is an effective, pleasant tasting, sugar free formulation for relief of cold and allergy symptoms
  • It contains an antihistamine (brompheniramine maleate) to relieve a runny nose, itchy, watery eyes and sneezing and a decongestant (phenylephrine hydrochloride) to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.

  • Use only as directed.
    Each 5 mL contains: Brompheniramine Maleate 2 mg Phenylephrine Hydrochloride 5 mg
  • Also contains: Ethanol, Citric Acid - Anhydrous, Saccharin Sodium, Sodium Benzoate, flavour (Grape Flavour Artificial) and dyes (Amaranth CI16185 and Brilliant Blue FCF CI42090)
  • Dimetapp Elixir is grape flavoured and Sugar Free (contains Sorbitol).
    Children: 6 to 12 years: 7.5 mL every 6-8 hours
  • Adults: 10 mL every 6-8 hours
  • May be taken diluted with water or fruit juice
  • Not to be used in children under 6 years of age without medical advice
  • Do not exceed recommended dose
  • In all cases of overdose, immediately call the Poisons Information Centre (Phone 13 11 26)
  • Symptoms that may associated with an overdose include: nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness, ataxia, hallucinations and convulsions
  • In the event of overdose, discontinue medication and seek medical help immediately
