  • Viral warts may appear at any age but are most commonly found in older children

    Do not use the pen: ?If the wart is located on an area other than the hand or foot; ?On a bleeding, irritated, inflamed skin or skin showing any sign of inflammation such as itch or swelling; ?On skin tags, moles, dark patches of skin, freckles, water warts (mollusca contagiosa), seborrhoeic keratosis (verruca seborrhoica), or exfoliated skin; ?If you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients
  • ?If you are still uncertain whether you have a wart or not, consult your general practitioner prior to use
  • Warnings and precautions ? Wart-Off Treatment Pen contains a corrosive acid
  • ? For warts located on hands or feet ONLY
  • Do not apply the gel on healthy skin surrounding the wart
  • If the gel makes contact with healthy skin, clean the area immediately with lots of soap and water to prevent irritation or burning feeling of the healthy skin
  • You may use an ointment like vaseline in order to protect the surrounding area before applying the gel
  • If you have difficulties with applying the gel precisely, for example on the foot sole, ask for assistance
  • ? If used for the first time, apply the gel first on one wart before treating multiple warts
  • ? Do not expose the treated area to sunlight until the skin has returned to normal
  • This may take 4 to 6 weeks
  • Skin hyper- or hypo-pigmentation may occur because of sunlight exposure
  • ? Do not touch or pick the treated skin, because a wart is contagious
  • Do not peel off the scab as it needs to fall off by itself
  • ? Avoid contact with eyes and mucosal membranes
  • In case of accidental contact with eyes or mucosal membranes rinse with plenty of water and seek medical assistance
  • ? To maintain personal hygiene the pen should only be used by a single user
  • The pen should be discarded after the completion of treatment
  • ? Avoid contact with clothes, jewellery, fabrics or furniture as it may damage them
  • ? After use, there may be small residues of treatment gel left in the cap, therefore, caution is recommended when closing and re-opening the cap
  • ? Consult your general practitioner if: The wart has not disappeared after 4 treatment periods (4 weeks)
  • You experience irritation, redness or pain
  • Wart-Off Treatment Pen can be used by adults and children from 4 years old
  • Adults must apply the gel to children
  • For children it is recommended to change the dosing schedule to 1 application per day, see the INSRUCTIONS FOR USE
  • During pregnancy or breastfeeding or if you are diabetic, have poor blood circulation or skin diseases, consult your general practitioner prior to use
  • Do not use together with other wart treatments.
    TCA-Activeâ„¢ (based on Trichloroacetic Acid), Carbopol, Methylene Blue, Aqua.

  • Remove the cap: turn the cap to align the arrows and then pull the cap from the pen
  • 2
  • When used for the first time: Prime the pen vertically, with the tip facing downwards, by pushing the button several times, until the blue gel fills the tip
  • It may take up to 50 clicks to disperse the first drop of gel (this is to build up sufficient pressure to break the airtight seal and release the gel into the tip)
  • Apply the gel first on one wart before treating multiple warts, to experience the effect on your skin
  • Start treating another wart only if you did not experience any side effects (normally within 5 days)
  • If there are multiple warts close to one another (within 1 cm), wait until the skin has returned to normal before treating another wart (this can take up to 6 weeks)
  • Apply the treatment: 3
  • Carefully apply one blue drop (one click) of treatment gel strictly on the wart
  • If one drop does not cover the entire wart, apply another drop of gel

  • If the gel accidentally makes contact with healthy skin, wash the entire area with soap and water to prevent irritation or burning feeling of the healthy skin
  • You may use an ointment like Vaseline in order to protect the surrounding area before applying the gel

  • Let the gel dry for 10-15 minutes before putting on socks, shoes or gloves
  • 6
  • Carefully wipe the tip with a tissue to remove any excess of gel
  • Recap the pen firmly and misalign the arrows
  • Repeat treatment twice a day for 4 days
  • For children with small warts apply the gel once a day.
